Douglas Kelly became Editor-in-Chief of the National Post in February of  2005.

A graduate of Ryerson University’s Journalism program, Mr. Kelly worked on a number of beats at the Ottawa Citizen before joining the Financial Post as Bay Street reporter in Toronto. He later became investing editor of the FP.

When the National Post was launched in 1998, he occupied the same position before being named Executive Editor, Deputy Editor and then Editor-in-Chief.

A Toronto native, Mr. Kelly is a past recipient of the Asia-Pacific Fellowship for Journalists and editor of the Financial Post Guide to Investing.

National Post covers issues from across the country and around the world, all with a distinctly Canadian voice. Every section goes in-depth, from the latest on culture in Arts & Life to analysis that goes beyond the scores in Post Sports, plus the best-respected business reporting in Canada in Financial Post and Financial Post Magazine.

Extending these traditions to the Web, nationalpost.com and financialpost.com deliver a rich, customizable online news experience. National Post truly is a better read.
